Message efficient. 270 Rwhp would put the drivetrain losses at around 35 hp...or 10-11 %...very efficient.....

Usually Porsches (911s,997s etc.) acheive this due to the engine being so close to the rear wheels.

I think with the new hp ratings system,that 306hp that Nissan quotes is really around 315-320hp on the old scale. Someone else has mentioned this and I think that's the reason for the respectable rwhp numbers.

But, the Z32 does make alittle better tq numbers. I think it would be a good race but with $500 and a chip(extra 60 hp) in the Z32..it would be that easy to make the Z32 faster.

$500 may get you 10-15 hp in the 350Z.
